Security deposit dispute spirals into yearslong case

We have the distinct pleasure of representing Lalana Fedorschak in this case. All they were asking for was their security deposit. The landlord countersued for tens of thousands of dollars. We took it to a jury trial to stand up for Lalana's rights as a tenant.

The jury found that Lalana had not violated the lease or any other law governing the landlord-tenant relationship.

Then the landlord appealed, asking the Court of Appeals to throw out the jury's verdict and force Lalana to pay them.

We are proud to be representing Lalana in the appeal, and are awaiting the court's ruling.
